I have no record of >Helen's date of birth/death. > >Where do you Boynton searchers recommend I start? > Grace, I looked in the Boynton genealogy of 1897, and found your grandparents (pg. 176). Helen's lineage is: 1 John Boynton + Elin Pell 2.Caleb Boynton, Sergt. + Hannnah Harriman 3. Ebenezer Boynton + (1st) Sarah Grout (Caleb's mother) + (2nd) Abigail Chadwick 4. Caleb Boynton + (1st) Rachel (Samuel's mother) + (2nd) Lydia Bullard + (3rd)Abigail Medway Richardson (widow) 5. Samuel Boynton (Am. Rev. War patriot) + Mary Robinson 6. George Boynton +(1st) Anna Twitchell (Helen's mother) + (2nd) Sarah Hibner 7. Helen M. Boynton, b. 18 Dec 1829 This book doesn't show Helen's place of birth, but does say her father died (of cholera in 1852) in Walworth, NY. He was a lawyer, Justice of the Peace, and served in the War of 1812. Getting a copy of this book would give you a great deal of information. It's available in reprint from Hignell's Books, or you might find a used copy somewhere, or it may be available in a library. A complete citation and link to Hignell's website is in my webpage at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~kwc/boynton.
