    3. Hello, I am French and I am working for my pleasure on a Paul Boyton's biography and I have many difficulties to understand in which archives or in which way to search in USA; I have in my hands several original letters from him whom wrote to her French girl friend; I will like to know, mainly, if Paul Boyton married her. I dont know what can I do for obtain those information; I explored many web sites and I discovered your site. "My Paul Paul Boyton" bornt perhaps at Pittsburgh 1848 and leaved at Allegany in 1858 - He died on April 19, 1924 Brooklyn - there is a memorial plaque placed at Luna park in honour of one of his invention of shoot-the-chutes ride. Here a reference I found: Captain Paul Boyton continued to live in the Brooklyn area until died on April 19, 1924. A memorial plaque was placed at Luna Park in honor of his invention of the Shoot-the-Chutes ride. While he was the orginator of the enclosed amusement park concept at Coney Ilsand, he was always annoyed that people, especially newspaper reporters continued to mispell his name as Boynton instead of Boyton. Like you can see in this text that he was sometimes called Boynton perhaps that explains my difficulties to find something concening him? His father is dead in 1869 and he was married before 1892; He has 3 sisteurs (one of them is Theresa) and three brothers Michael (engineer) and the other one officer in japanese army. Does someone can help me? Best regards Michel MICHEL LOPEZ http://www.histoire.org/scriptmani http://www.univ-lemans.fr/~lopez
