John remarried Mary of Bradford 19 Feb 1718-19. 3-Zachariah Boynton born 16 Feb 1689, married 19 Feb 1718 Mary Boynton (-) of Bradford, MA, where they resided until 1746 4-John Boynton (26 Dec1719-29 Oct 1787) married Ruth Jewett (1745-1812) of Rowley, MA 5-John Boynton born 11 Aug 1754 in Hollis, NH; died 29 Dec 1807. He married 1784 Sarah Woods (1758-1849) My question is did Zacharia and his father both marry women named Mary on the same date? Could they have been members of a Quaker society? I know that the Quakers held monthly meetings where births, marriages, and deaths would be recorded, and issues of importance to the members would be discussed. I found that many of my Quaker ancestors had been "disowned" by the society for fighting in various wars including the Revolutionary War.
