I am trying to locate descendents and of Solomon Boyle b:abt1694 in Ireland and d:January 15, 1771 in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. I am a direct descendant and show a listing of the direct descendants from Solomon through my father at the end of this message. Most of the information I have is from the WFT's from Broderbund and the persons who did the research except for the descendants of my ggrandfather. Much more can be found in the WFT's than I have shown here. I am also trying to find out from where in Ireland Solomon came and who his family was. He met Susanne Madelain Pelletreau, probably in New York (from family bible records of Doty line) they were married May 12, 1722. He purchased land in New Jersey in the amount of 600 acres from East Jersey propeitors. This property was west of and adjoining the Berkley tract. A long piece between that tract and the Passiac River, separated from the Berkly tract by a line running from the river due north, crossing Long Hill , to the river again. this tract lay in the westernmost part of the town of Millington. The house at 42 Old Mill Road is presumed to have been the house of Solomon Boyle.Solomon is buried, along with his wife, Susanna Pelletreau Boyle, in the First Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church Cemetary.
