Hi List, Pat, has suggested that I mention a 'Royal BOYLE' gedcom file I have on the list. It starts with (from memory) the first Earl of CORK in 16 something and proceeds to the early 20th century, including lots of other Earls of Cork, Viscounts Orrey and miscellaneous other nobility etc. I extracted the information from a number of sources when my wife thought she might be related to a BOYLE at Catsle Fraser, nr Aberdeen, Scotland. I remember hearing that these BOYLEs originally came from England and their name was adopted by local people on their estates, how true this is I have no idea. However, if anyone would like a copy of this file drop me a line & I'll gladly send it to you - probably next weekend, when I get some time.
