Hi List Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Dave Rossiter from Northampton in the U.K. and I'm researching my wife's family - the BOYLEs We know very little about this family, partly due to family disagreement in recent generations. However we know a little. James (Jimmy) Boyle married Mary Hogan around 1920 and had at least two children, Robin (my wife's father) and Michael. James apparently served with the RFC / RAF toward the end of WW 1. As far as we know both James & Mary came from Clonmel in Tipperary, Ireland, and rumour has it that one of Mary's brothers may have been involved in the 'Troubles'. If anyone can help us with research into this line I'd be grateful for your help. The Irish townland & parish system has me baffled. All the best for now Dave Rossiter [email protected] Genealogy must be exponential !
