Hi! I am also interested in Charles and Hannah Boyle. They lived in 1850 in Mauch Chunk Township, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, according to the U.S. Census. Hannah was born circa 1825 in Ireland. Charles Boyle was born circa 1815 in Ireland. They had 5 children that I know of: 1.F. Bridget, born circa 1848 in Ireland. 2. F. Mary, born Feb. 1851 in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, died 14 May 1910 in Spokane, Washington. This is my wife Karen's ancestor. 3. F. Sarah, born circa 1853 in PA. 4. M. Patrick, born circa 1855 in PA. 5. M. Hugh, born Aug. 1860 in PA. Charles Boyle is listed in the arrivals for the Port of New York on 3 April 1848 on the ship Senator out of Liverpool. He was a tailor. He was traveling with a Hugh Boyle, possibly a brother. I have no other information on Charles Boyle. It was said by another genealogist that Hannah's maiden name was O'Donnell, but I have no proof of this. I wish I had more information on Hannah. Thank you, Doc Huer@aol.com 31 March 2003
