Dear Beth: I appreciate your reply. I am aware of the fact that many people sailed from Sligo who did not live there. I have been to Sligo and to the Heritage Center there and found no records. I have also searched Co. Roscommon with no luck. I am currently looking at the Tithe Applotment Records for all of Western Ireland Counties. I am an experienced genealogist and realize that Irish Records are incomplete, at best. I don't think that there is a connection between our ancestors but we can keep in touch. Thanks again, Lois Hufford Holcomb I am presently searching the Tithe Applotment Records for all of Western Ireland. I am using LDS Records mostly. Hi Lois, Thanks for replying it sounds as if you have a BIG job on your hands. Could I ask you a big favour, could you keep an eye out for my Charles Boyle and Helen Gallagher in the Tithe Applotment and if anything shows up let me know I would be eternally greatfull. If I can do anything for you here in Scotland please let me know. I hope you did not take offence at my previous posting - none was meant. Thanks in advance.
