He died in 1834 of unsound mind and his son John, brought a suit before the Chancery Court regarding his property. In the suit, it lists 10 children, Thomas Boyle of Campbell Co, VA, Alexander Boyle, Polly Kerns (married to Reuben Kerns of Bedford, Va), Robert Boyle (I assume, Jr), David Boyle of Putnam Co, Ill (my ancestor), Caleb Boyle of Greenbriar, Va, Sally Boyle Guthrie (married to James Guthrie of Saida Co, OH), Elizabeth Boyle, William Boyle, and John Boyle.
