His name was Thomas Francis Boyle (whom added an "s" to the end of his name when he became an adult. Thomas was the youngest of three children. His mother Sarah Blanks died when he was only 3 mo. old. (1874). Thomas had two older sisters listed on the 1880 census for Wagener, Oconee Co,. SC. Their names are Ellen b. 1864, and Agness b. 1872. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
