    3. Dear Elaine, Thanks for your quick response! I am currently residing in Spokane, WA.a recent victim of a wishy-washy economy-and involved in a search for rewarding employment. The fact that we may be related is fascinating. I have been unable to turn up much on the Boyles-despite the fact that I am one. I also received information from "the Sisters" that was very helpful. Sr. Barbara Peterson filled in some gaps for me; but I haven't been able to tie any knots. Maybe you could help? In October I visited Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. There I found the graves of my grandfather William Dennis Boyle (1878-1938), his first wife Kate Burke-Boyle (1878-1925), his brother Thomas (1875-1931), my great-grandfather Thomas Patrick (1828-1888) and great-grandmother, Margaret (1844-1909). This last part is where we seem to part company.unless gr-grandpa was married twice, or there is another branch of the family I am unaware of. The most fascinating part of this are the birth years of the men in the family. Thomas Patrick (1828) William D., Sr. (1878)-when Thomas was 50 William D., Jr. (my dad, 1928)-when William, Sr. was 50 and the fact that the fathers both died when the boys were 10. My dad thought he was doomed at 60, though by that time I was 32. My grandmother, Josephine Tompkins-Boyle (1892-1980) was William, Sr's second wife. You can see that there are some discrepancies-unless I'm not seeing the whole story. I was born in Kansas City, MO in 1952. Dad was born and raised there. He and mom currently are retired and living in Carlsbad, CA. If you can help me with the Henry-Thomas-William-William line.that would be great! How 'bout you?
