Pamela, you sound like me, there has been almost no documentation on my Boyle line as far as family trees go online. I have poured over census records. It is possible our lines cross though. The farthest I have been able to go back is 1751, Robert Boyle of Bedford County, VA. He had 10 children, including a James and a William, all born in Va. Another brother, David who is my ancestor travelled to Madison County,Ky and then Todd County, Ky. In late 1820's he headed up to Putnam county, IL. His son, David Boyle,jr married Lovina Mathis from Champaign county, OH. When I checked the census for that area just looking for other relatives, there was a William Boyle, by himself in that county. Also, David Boyle, jr's daughter, Jennie(Boyle) Balderston named a son Philip Sheridan Balderston. Any connection so far?
