    3. Kelly, I'm looking for information on John Boyle who was born in 1863 in Ireland and emigrated from Cork to the U.S. in 1865. Your Michael's birth year of 1857 is close to John's. Might they have been related? Sadly, John either couldn't or wouldn't speak of his family of origin other than that his Mother and Father (and he of course) were from Ireland. He never spoke of brothers but that is a distinct possibility. John somehow got to Ohio and lived with a farming family there until he came to Atchison County, Kansas and married my great-grandmother, Mary Eliza Olden, and raised a family. Parents unknown but also born in Ireland. Michael Joseph Boyle worked for the railroad as a civil engineer, surveyor, and locomotive engineer. He built the railroad through Bear River Canyon in Utah. He was married to Minnie Poulson in Dubois, Idaho. Michael Joseph Boyle died in California. I have more detailed information so if it sounds similar to what you have please email.
