Diann My Boyle family is from the Glenties area, still not sure exactly where. The first Boyle I have is Charles Boyle married to Helen Gallocher both born within the first ten years of 1800. They had Children Ann b 1833 Mary 1836 and James 1841(according to the 1851 Census of Campsie Stirlingshire Scotland. I haven't been ables to find any siblings for Charles but there must have been some. James was my ggrandfather and he married Jane Carruth and they had a family of six, Sarah,Helen,Annie,William Carruth, John (my grandfather) and Jane. I have further info on the following generations, can you see any connection. Did your Boyle's come from Scotland? I have a Sarah Carruth Boyle b 29th July 1865 in Campsie Stirlingshire who married a John Garrity on 6th June 1890 in Campsie Stirlingshire. Her father was my ggrandfather James Boyle. Can you see any connection. I looked on my CD of British registration births and could only find an Anne Boyle with Thomas as a father born in 1870 and 1869 but the mothers were Bridget Henna for 1870 and Elizabeth Simpson for 1879 and the county was Cavan and Donegal. Sorry. Perhaps someone knows a different way to get your information. Winnie
