>From the book The Boyds of Boyds Tank, by Frank Ewell Boyd & William Taylor Boyd. (1970), page 24, tells us that the first child of Henry Boyd and Susan Heard was Joseph Boyd. Henry and Susan lived out their days in the Long Cane community of Troup County. There they died and were buried in unmarked graves in the family cemetery located just west of Long Cane near the Chattahoochee River. “1-Joseph (Uncle Joe) Boyd (1819-1881), married Ann McGee. They had eight children-Carrie, John Henry, Walter, Joseph, Mary Belle (Bowman), Emma (Ford), Annie and William. The children lived in Georgia and Mississippi.” Do any members of the list belong to Joseph and Ann’s family? If so, I would like to hear from you.
