    3. I was told at the Troup County Library that the cemetery is completely overgrown and almost impossible to get to. I live 3 hours away and have limited time but hope to find it one day. The Library has wonderful collection of material from Mrs. Roland Shaefer Heard, Mrs. Charles Mellard Jamison and Mrs. Julius C. Moore, descendants of Henry and Susan Heard Boyd. The Janie Lovelace Heard papers are a treasure. 3. Perhaps this might be a project that our Georgian cousins might like to discuss to see if a group can gather to make it not "overgrown". I am not too sure when your next long weekend might be or if it would be best to wait until after winter. 3. Has someone got an actual street address for this? The only reference to Long Cane that I was able to find was Long Cane Elementary and Old Long Cane Rd. It's about 30 minutes from my house. I'm more than willing to run up there, but I need an address :( -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mike Boyd Sent: Friday, November 22, 2013 9:18 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [BOYD] Boyd family cemetery at Long Cane, Troup County, GA Perhaps this might be a project that our Georgian cousins might like to discuss to see if a group can gather to make it not "overgrown".
