    3. In 2006 this message was posted. “The Boyd Clan by Arthur S. Boyd Jr., 1924 UPDATES Christopher Anwyl Boyd After finding this website today, I started to scan in an old Boyd family history book published in 1924. I will try to add it to a website over Christmas vacation and let you know the URL. It goes down to my Great Aunt, who died at the age of 96. I found it in a library in Georgetown or Bath, Maine, for 25 cents when I was about 11. I can scan the complete Boyd and Stewart crests. I have the family bible from my grandfather, a Baptist minister from New Hampshire, which contained family tree information. I also have old portraits of some ancestors I can add if the interest is there. At that point, I can add my Grandfather Franklin James Boyd, Father James Franklin Boyd, Uncle Robert Boyd and his children, myself, and my children to complete the family branch. I also have some notes I jotted down somewhere on the family history as relayed from my Great Aunt before she died. As you must know, 3 branches settled in the United States. As far as I know, thanks to Viet Nam, I am the sole surviving male of the New England branch still living in New England. My uncle Robert Boyd and his family moved to St. Louis area. The son of Grace Boyd died in Viet Nam and I believe her daughter married and started Boyd Bears. Christopher Anwyl Boyd” I can’t recall why I did not put in Christopher Anwyl Boyd’s contact details. Chris are you still on this list? Or does anyone on this list know of him? If I also recall in the last few years the Boyd Bears people closed production – so someone on the list might have an old contact for that family as well. Hopefully, we can find some members of this Maine family whom can update Arthur S. Boyd’s book of 1924 AND MAKE CORRECTIONS to it. Thank you Mike Boyd Historical Committee, HBS
