    3. This is the reply I got from the Troup County Historian... The Henry Boyd Cemetery is in land lot 295 of the 5th land district of Troup County. There are no roads that cut through this property. The closest on can get to it on a road is to take, from LaGrange, U. S. Highway 27 South to Glass Bridge Road, go right onto Glass Bridge Road (it actually forks off U. S. Hwy 27 S.) and then turn left onto Kimbrough Road and at the end of Kimbrough Road, go straight across Lower Glass Bridge Road onto Old Potts road, which deadends at a piece of the backwater from Lake West Point. You still are not quite to land lot 295 and would have to walk west north west before finding land lot 295, which si 202.5 acres so it would be quite a lot of looking. You can also turn right at the end of Kimbrough Road onto Lower Glass Bridge road and then take a left onto Ferrell Tatum Road and go a short ways down that road and stop and get out of your car and walk south looking for it, but again, land lot 295 (as all regular land lots are, is 202.5 acres and you'll be looking for some time before you stumble onto the cemetery. However, I am not sure what purpose it would serve to find this cemetery as there are NO MARKED graves in that cemetery. The dates referenced in the Troup County Cemetery book and copied from it onto Find-A-Grave, to people who MAY or MAY NOT even be buried there are from a Family Bible, not from tombstones. Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gay Dasher Sent: Sunday, November 24, 2013 12:37 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [BOYD] Boyd family cemetery at Long Cane, Troup County, GA The information that I have found is that The Boyd Family Cemetery is located in Land Lot 295 of land District 5. just west of Long Cane near the Chattahoochee River.
