    1. [BOYD] The forefathers and Families of Certain Settlers in Western Pennsylvania, William Boyd Duff, , 1976?
    2. Mike Boyd
    3. This book deals with a Boyd family from County Down’s Ards Peninsular from around Ballyhalbert, Glastry and Greyabbey. It deals with the family of William Boyd who was born in the County Down, near Belfast, Ireland, November 28, 1816. Six years later his parents, David and Mary (Bryson) Boyd, came to America, and settled on a farm in that part of Indiana township, which no consititutes O'Hara. I assume that this is located in Allegheny Co., PA . We know that quite a lot of Boyds in the late 1700’s and early moved to the SW Counties of PA, including Allegheny Co., PA. David Boyd’s parents were William Boyd and Ellinor McKee While William and his wife, Maria Louisa Miller had a daughter Mary Boyd who married Alfred William Duff. This book may be of use to County Down researchers who are looking at Ards Peninsular migration to the USA AND for spouse name families who may have followed the same migration as the population in the Ards Peninsular out grew its resources. I found a copy in the US Library of Congress, but I assume your local Library should be able to find a copy closer to you. >From the Boyd list. I think I have been in correspondence with one or two members of this family of William Boyd and Maria Louisa Miller. So could you please contact me Than you Mike Boyd
