During my 2013 trip to the USA in either Philadelphia or Washington D. C., I copied the title page of Volume IV of this book and wrote a note “Has anyone researched the 11 volumes (?) for Boyd families”. I did not copy the Index for Boyds, so I can’t even say if this volume had any Boyds listed. And I assume with the “(?)” after volumes I might not have been sure if there was a total of 11 volumes. Also by the use of “New Series” would suggest to me that there had been a previous series of publications. So do any members know anything about either series and do they have any Boyd families in them? I read thru this book online... https://archive.org/details/colonialrevoluti41jord. There is no index or Table of Contents, so you have to review it page by page. There are no Boyds in this volume, but perhaps in other Volumes of the series?
