    3. Fran I will post your query to the Boyd list, so that others can see your query. I do know that two families of Boyd were in Trigg and Christian Counties, KY. One of the families is of George and Isabella Boyd who had four sons move to Halifax County, VA. While the second family is the family of the late Linda Lawhon of Texas, who family came from PA and then Iredell County, NC I could not find Seymore Boyd in either family, but then I do not have the "full" family for either family. So perhaps members of this list might recognise. I will start to write to after this Mike Boyd -----Original Message----- From: Fran Ruddell Sent: Monday, February 17, 2014 8:34 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Seymour W. Boyd b.ca 1815 VA Hello Mike, I have been searching for my 3rd G-grandfather, and grandmother, for about 15 years now. I've had very little luck; so I'm hoping you may be able to help me in some way. On the US census's, Seymore, Semore, Seamore Seymor, S.W. (a variety of spellings), always stated he was born in VA. His wife was Susan Henninger, (also various spellings), was born in TN abt. 1818, and they were married about 1838 in TN. A cousin told me one time that he lived in Trigg and Christian counties in KY before settling in Bledsoe Co., TN. He also lived in Coffee co. and Rutherford Co., TN before going to Bledsoe Co., TN. I have no idea when, or where, they died for sure. I really don't know what else I can do, or where I can look, to find out about my father's side of my family. Can you help me in any way? I would be extremely grateful for any info. Thank you very much. Fran Boyd-Ruddell
