Have any members of the list ever seen a copy of the book The First Settlers of Albany, by I. Pearson. I understand that it may have the details of several Boyd families? So do we know who these families are? When they came to Albany, NY and form where? (I would assume it was Ireland, but some might have come from Scotland).
