Just remember that there could be other children who have died previous to the Will being processed by the Court or it may even list grandchildren of a deceased child. The location of where the Will provider lived will be most important for fallow researchers, as their family might be an unknown part of your family or a second Boyd family from the same area. (That way you can exchange souces and data.) In the William Boyd Index that I copied the first six locations were: Edinburgh, (1709); Saltcoats, (1796); Largs, ( 1632); Parish of Culross, (1543); Parish of Kinglassie, ( 1550); Airth, (1751). So even in this short list, there is a unusual spread of locations for Boyds.
