Hi Susan, I happened across your email in ref to the Boys brothers of Swansea NSW. I do not know if we have a connection or not but a brief outline of my Boyds are the following: William and Thomas Boyd as I understand it were fisherman along with other trades such as boat building, professional fishinermen etc etc.. in Lake Macquarie and up and down the coast but most of which were carried out in Swansea. There is more to the background of William and Thomas Boyd than I have shown here but I don't have it all together as yet and I am simpy seeking to see if you are searching the same Boyds as I am. William married ??? in Swansea and my grandmother was one of his children thus making Willaim Boyd my great grandfather. I have never been able to trace who William married or where he was married but I do know that he lived in Swansea and as an extra both William and Thomas streets in Swansea were named for them.!!
