Mike, Thank you for replying to my emai in reference to my Boyd line. The answer to your question is that I don't know and that is because I cannot get past William and Thomas Boyd of Lake Macquarie. I understand what you are saying when you mentioned that you cannot find any reference to my . I have not located any information on these two brothers either other than that which I have mentioned to you. The information that I know, ( but cannot locate on the net is the following :) I do not know who William Boyd married or when. Family heresay is that he came from Swansea where his brother Thomas also lived ???? Prior to that I know nothing hence the reason I have contacted your organization. I do not like heresay but family tells me verbally that his marriage was to one Eliza Freeman of Freeman Waterholes naming. I nothing more of this family either. William Boyd had a daughter who was named Maud Gertrude Boyd. She in turn married one Walter Lambert James. My mother was one of their children, ( Melvie Irene James who married William Stoddart ). Since you last email I have not been able to find any more about Wiliam Boyd except to say that he and his brother Thomas were professional fisherman on Lake Macquarie and gained there income from this however I could not find out where he resided on Lake Macquarie.. I do believe that the Boyd brothers resided in Swanrea and there are three streets named for them I.e. Boyd, Thomas and William streets. Nonetheless, to all of the above I did not know what else I can find out for you and I sincerely hope that I have not put you on a roundabout like I am.
