I have just got this information from Beth (Email bethmcgeerussell@aol.com) concerning ”I am researching the history of a plantation in the parish of Saint Mark, Grenada, West Indies. Its name since 1891 is Mount Edgecombe, prior to that it was Nettle Point; 1763 and before it was Pointe des Orties. In slave registers from 1819 until 1827 William Boyd is listed as the owner of Nettle Point Estate in the Parish of Saint Mark, Grenada. William Boyd is also listed as a member of the Grenada Legislature in 1826. “ So do any members of this list know of this “William Boyd of Grenada?
