I know that I have a branch of a Boyd family that went with Donaldson to Nashville, TN but I can’t now find it. My first thought was that it was the family of the Late Linda Lawhon. But I have checked that family and can’t find that reference. Thank you Mike Boyd

Mike, Yes this is my line. The one we have recently linked to Linda. Erby, Thomas and Benton the sons of Robert Boyd of Pickens South Carolina the -Robert son of Robert one of the four uncles of the Slaymaker lawsuit. Linda's John A was actually a Hinton but went by Boyd- as did his brother, Moses. That's long story which I will soon be able to tel in full but I need to go there in September and speak to the Hintons still there. There were other branches of this same family that went also. Alston, the lawyer and William Irby were the sons of George son of Patrick the whiskeymaker on the Dan. William Irby set up shop in Nashville. My Erby stayed in Benton County. The Irby/Erby's sometimes get confused. The court records of Pickens hold the keys.
