NC)[3], bu , Iredell Co., NC?, and had issue:- [Lived: , Iredell Co.?, North Carolina ] - Details/history. Strange no daughters listed. Did they have any? Linda said "no only 7 seven son listed" (From Thomas Boyd's (U3) Revolutionary War Statement.) Robert & Eleanor moved from York Co. Pa to somewhere in VA. where their fourth son was born. About 1767, they moved to Rowan County, NC. The area where they lived became Burke Co., then Wilkes Co, then Iredell Co, and now Alexander Co. [I think Linda Lawhon told me they settled at Taylorsville, Rowan County, North Carolina.] While I have Scotland listed above as his place of birth, I think my grey cells tell me that it was also “thought” to have been born in the USA – although I have not made in note to that effect.
