Folks now that the snow is off the ground and we have all enjoyed our Easter, now might be a suitable time to post your Boyd queries. So what do you need to include:- 1) Full name and the common name they went by; 2) date and place of birth; 3) date and place of death; 4) where they are buried; 5) where they lived; 6) who they married – the name of the spouse; 7) the Church and its location they were married in and its denomination; 8) The spouses parents name. This will be the ideal situation with your query, but most of us do not know all this about our early Boyd ancestors, so post as much as you know about them and any other information that you might know about them. In the last two weeks I have been working on Boyds of Springfield MO, which went back to Williamson County, TN and then it seems to go back to Chester County, PA, and then to County Antrim, Ireland and then back to various places in Scotland until it makes a connection to the 6th Lord Boyd. This tree is not worth the paper it is written on. It has MIXED 5 OR 6 separate Boyd families and joined them together because they have confused names and place with father’s and sons. When I finish a few more letters, I will make a series of posting about this website and it wrong connection. Mike Boyd Historical Committee, HBS
