I am not quite sure how good this website is as it also had data on Colonel Hugh Boyd of Ballycastle, County Antrim “Col. Hugh Boyd, 1680 - 1765 Col. Hugh Boyd was born in between 1680 and 1690, to William Boyd and Rose Boyd (born MacNeile). William was born in of Drumawillan. Col had 2 siblings: William Boyd and one other sibling. Col married Anne Boyd (born McAllister). Anne was born in 1685, in kenbane?. They had 3 children: Margaret Macaulay (born Boyd) and 2 other children. Col passed away in 1765, at age 85 at death place. He was buried at burial place.” On the window of the Church he built, it said that he died in 1765 at age 75. And I know of 6 children that Colonel Hugh Boyd had. And he was buried in the Church Vault at the Diamond.
