I have also added this book to my 2016 "todolist", so I can try to find it on my trip and see for myself what it might say, etc The Blair's of 1718 - is it know where they came from prior to Ulster? I know that there is a connection between the Blairs of that Ilk, North Ayrshire and one of the Boyd families. So this was making me wonder if some of the Boyds who also came in 1718, might have come form the Pitcon, Lynn or Craig Boyds of Dalry? It provides no facts for the family connection, just a local "history" on the family connections. The Blair's are part of the 1718 emigration, and major players in that event.
