Do any members of this list have any information about this “John Boyd, bally” of Kilmarnock? His parents or origins and his family and any descendants? The first Earl of Kilmarnock had a son John Boyd who was baptised 5/3/1672 (Kirkintillock Parish, Dumbartonshire), so I would assume that he is not this Bailie Boyd. Because he has 6 Hearth’s I assume that this John Boyd had some wealth and is most likely a descendant of one of the earlier Lord Boyd – but which one. Thank you Mike Boyd Brisbane, Aust.
