I would be thrilled to have as many Boyds as possible stop by the Celtic Fling and Highland games on the 25th and 26th of June. I am hoping for better weather this year. Last year was cold and rainy and our only visitor was a little green inchworm. He would not sign-in so I took his picture. As soon as I can figure out how I will share it. It would be quite a good idea to join Jean Burchett when she host the Boyd tent at the end of June. The city of Lancaster, has quite a good Library at the Lancaster County Historical Society (if you are not a member you will need to pay for the days research) Charlene Kemp and have been to this Library twice and pick up “most” of the Boyd data at that time. While it is not too far to go to the State Capital at Harrisburg and visit the State Library there. BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE SURE it is opened on the days you wish to visit. While some of the Philadelphia Libraries might also be quite useful to visit to see what extra data you can find including SPOUSE FAMILIES. If you can’t join Jean this year at the Boyd tent and make a visit to the various Libraries around Lancaster County – before or after the Games – you may wish to start working to build your tree so you can go in June 2017.
