Milke, Thank you for forwarding tihis info to me but unfortunately it doesn't appear to tie in with what I already have and no I cannot supply any more info than what I have. It has been a long and grinding road for me attempting to trace these Boyds but I guess if I keep at it I will get there eventually. My problem seems to be that I do not have enough info on these Boyds in Swansea albeit I feel that they are my relo's according to my grandmother. She used to always state that William Boyd, who was her father was settled in Swansea and primarily a boat builder along wit his brother Thomas. This of course would make the aforesad William Boyd my great grandfather. Q: Was the Boyd Street in Swansea was named for these Boyd brothers ? Over and above that I do not seem to be able to break the barrier to tell me where and when these Boyd brothers came from initially and so I guess the question is do you know of anybody else who has researched this family ? Thank you for taking the time to read this information and I have taken on board all that you have sent me and I appreciate that, however I still am up against that proverbial brick wall.
