Thank you for putting in your Email address, so those of us only on the BOYD@rootsweb.com net can reply to you. 1) Do you know where the seven McWha children were born and when? 2) I could not pick up the marriage from the 1994 IGI for the UK? But that does not mean too much for Ireland 3) Have you tried either PRONI or the Northern Ireland Registry? With Jane Boyd McWha dying about 1885 one of these should have her listed. 4) Have you contact the Newspaper Library just behind the Central Library in Belfast to see if they might have a Card on her death from a Newspaper article on her death? Hear I am assuming that the family came form Northern Ireland and not the South. (Do any list member know the contacts in Dublin?) 5. Do you know the religion of the McWha parents and/or children? 6. While Boyds are fairly common in the six Northern Counties, you will find Boyds in the other Counties within Erie. So finding which County they came from in Ireland will be the most important after the death certificate. This will allow you to look at another set of data such as the Griffith Valuation for that area, etc 7. I have a number of Boyd burials for County down In Tullynakill Graveyard (which from the Townlands listed should be between Newtonards and Greyabbey "James McWha, Ringneel, parish of Tullynakill, died 8-4-1764, aged 67 years Jane (wife of John McWha, Bangor) (alias Boyd) died 21-12-1788 aged 60 years John McWha died 1-4-1809, aged 90 years" This grave is about 100 years before the period that you are looking at but might be indicator as to where you might find the McWha family? Members is there anything else that I have forgotten!
