In Australia Father's Day is coming up on either 4 September or 11 September. I am not sure when it might be in other Countries, but if it has already past you may consider doing it for Christmas instead. So if your father is "old" and has everything, why not get the children to combine to buy him a Boyd DNA test this father's day. To join the Boyd DNA Project, go to www.familytreedna.com and search the surname projects for Boyd. If you join this group and order your test from the Boyd page, there is a slight reduction in the fees. I understand that it is best to do the 67 marker test, but if you wish to get more advice contact the Project Administrator Jeri Ann Boyd on Email boyddna@sbcglobal.net Perhaps some other members of your family may like to make a financial contribution towards this test as I understand that you only need one from a family to show your families origins. I am not sure how may Boyd's have taken the test for Jeri Ann, but this is a case of she will never have enough people taking the test to see how people may form into Cadet Branches.
