Other family lines go much further back to Europe, but that really doesn't help me with Boyd. I realize that Carroll Co, Ohio was not formed until 1833 and so those various life events listed as occurring in Carroll, happened in another county, most likely Tuscarawas, Ohio.There have been some researchers that have indicated that James' father was eithe William or John. That may be, but a you can see from my chart, there is not a single John, but plenty of Williams, so I vote for the latter. have most of the b d m dates for most of the people on my chart, plus I have various lines going with lots of info - too much for an e mail.
