Mrs. Boyd was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Robert Grady Boyd. She is survived by daughters, Lucy Clark and her husband, John of Jonesboro; Becky Gardner and her husband, Bobby, of Lawrenceville (GA), 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2011 at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Irvin Pearre and Rev. Chris Streval officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
