Boyd p 120 d 1761) m 25/10/1714 (Kilmarnock), Margaret Thomson, dau of and (nee ) Thomson, b 16xx, d 17xx, and had issue:- [Lived: ] R10 James Boyd, b 3/9/1732 (Kilmarnock), d 30/9/1798, m 11/8/1757 (Newbury, Mass), Susannah Coffin, dau of Colonel Joseph Coffin of Newburyport, NH, b 17xx, d 17xx, and had issue:- m 2ndly 23/7/1791 (Boston), Abigail Bulfinch, dau of Bulfinch, b 17xx, d 18xx, and had issue:- ? [Lived: of Newburyport, NH USA ] S2 John Parker Boyd, b 21/12/1764 (Newburyport, Massachusetts), d 4/10/1830, and never married but had issue:- After he became an office in the Army in the USA he went to India and raised a Brigade and hired it out to the various Indian ruler. He came home and fought in the 1812 War and later became the Harbour Master at Boston. Although he never married he had two children by two different women. However, I have no details on what happened to them.
