    3. Okay folks. Apologies for three posts all in quick succession. This has definitely been one of "those" days and my phone displaying the replies to my post in an unusual order didn't help. Just wanted to say sorry for any confusion I've caused. Ideally my goal, when I get the names places and dates is to track my line back to Ireland or Scotland. I know we have our first ancestor in the us. I just don't have the book as it is half way across the us right now. Thank you all again and my apologies again. :/ Sent from my iPhone On Aug 26, 2011, at 9:49 PM, "Mike Boyd" <mikejboyd@bigpond.com> wrote: > We Boyd's have great powers but one of them is - unfortunately - that we > can't read minds. > > So if you are one of people that are LURKING on the list waiting for someone > else to post some details about your family, you NEED TO ADVERTISE what you > are looking for so people can help you. > > We have ALL had to start by telling the list details about our family. > > So do what I call your DIRECT BOYD TREE. 3. Hi Nanyque: Post away! There's no limit for how many in what order. No confusion. Just enthusiastic responses... and sometimes one person's message reminds us of others who may have a similar situation, and may not have posted. :) We dont' consider questions as "bugging" but rather an opportunity to get to know a cousin and share the information that we have. So... ask away! We will look forward to "hearing" who your immigrant ancestor is and what trail they left. You may find others here that connect with your line... and Mike may have some information from across the pond for you! So... when you get the book in your hands and have time, yes, please do share! There may be another lurker just waiting for the details YOU have to help them with their brick wall! Yours Aye, Lauren Boyd List Admin
