State of California Meetings May 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 2011 News/Update Mike will attend the Sacramento Caledonian Club's 135th Annual Sacramento Scottish Games and Festival Saturday and Sunday, May 7th and 8th, Yolo County Fairgrounds, Woodland, California. See the venue's web page here <http://www.saccallie.org/games/games.php> He will be found at the House of Boyd Society tent, in space 11. Plan to bring your genealogy, your cooler, your chair and make yourself at home! We'd like you to join us in the clan march held both Saturday and Sunday (approximately noon). Mike will be available to speak with off and on all day when he's not visiting the clans related to our family. He will give a Boyd history lecture both days at 2:30pm. The event is held on Mother's Day weekend this year. Give mom a very special present and bring her out to the games to meet Mike! Monday, May 9th, 2011 for those of you who are unable to attend the "Woodland Games" -- Roseville, Placer County: 6 pm to whenever we stop! Reception/Meeting to be held at the home of Lauren and Kevin McLachlan, Roseville, Placer County (near Sacramento) Bring your genealogy print outs and questions with you.
