Yesterday Mike Boyd presented a talk on the history of the Boyd family to 11 people in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mike was able to link one participant's family tree back to the family of George and Isabel Boyd. Next stop, Nashville.

On Sunday, May 1st, Mike Boyd gave a detailed talk of the history of the Boyd family to sixteen people at Boyd Mountain in Waynesville, NC.  Two Boyd researchers had driven from Marietta, Ga., and four had driven in from Knoxville, TN.  Many were from the Waynesville area (Haywood Co.). Boyd Mountain Cabins were on the lovely parcel of land owned by Dan and Betsy Boyd.  List members, you would all enjoy being at this place so much.  It is absolutely restorative and beautiful!  I will try to share photos on the Boyd!
