There are several theories about where he came from and his ancestry. We know that he was married to Elizabeth Rakes and they had three children Elisha, Samuel, and Oney. My ancestry goes to Robert through Elisha. Little is available online that far back and requires real research and as I said there are a lot of people doing that research.
