Hello List, Wish someone could help me with my William Boyd who was the father to John and Ruth Boyd of Browntown, Shenandoah, now Warren Co., VA and (Brownsville, MD, -formerly part of Frederick Co.,MD).  William died at Browntown, Shenandoah Co., VA.I believe him to be William,Sr  (one of two sons who lived at Washington Co., MD),  who descends from John and Mary Boyd of Amphill Grange, MD. Son John Boyd's Will . 1833, Shenandoah Co.VA mentions Mary Talbot.  John had son born 1805 named William.  Some of the Boyds from this family went West. Best regards, Louise
