He was born 30 Apr 1821 in Belmont CO, Ohio and married Sarah Ann White also from Belmont CO, Ohio. I do not have any information on him regarding siblings or parents. My father always said he was a 3rd cousin to William Boyd( Hopalong Cassidy). I have seen some postings that he is associated with Belmont CO, Ohio.
