"The Abridged Compendium of American Genealogy, First Families of America, A Genealogical Encyclopedia of the United States", Frederick A. Virkus, Vol. I, 1925 When Judy Spears of Pikeville, KY and I visited the Lexington, Kentucky, KY, Library in April 2011, we found the above publication. As this in titled "The Abridged Compendium", my mind is asking me if there is a "complete" Compendium published. So does anyone on this list know if such a publication was made. Or have they made this "Abridged" version from Individual family publications or some other source? Volume 1, has an Alphabetical Index, so if you are doing a reverse pyramid of all your ancestors, this maybe a useful source to consult for those non-Boyd fmailies.
