*James Boswell 1740-1795* Scottish biographer, diarist, essayist, poet, and critic. One of the most esteemed writers of his time travelled through part of Scotland with the famous Dr Johnson keeping a written record of their journey. I attach a URL which takes you to a page relating to that journey when they are invited to Slaine Castle. It touches on personal conversations with Charles Boyd and his brother Lord Erroll.
