As a follow-up to this April post, Con Childress now believes he has identified this William Boyd. Does anyone on the List have further information on this William Boyd? With Hensons mentioned below, it also may be important to note that my Joseph Boyd b. 1769 Franklin Co., VA (still Bedford Co. until 1785) married Nancy, whose maiden name is said to be Aaron. The only Nancy Aaron marriage record in Marshall Wingfield's Marriages of Franklin County, Virginia is a marriage to Joseph Hinson. I believe the marriage record is an error as far as the name, or it is possible Joseph changed his name.
