Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally. It is my hope that our Canadian Cousins will chime in with their tales of participation in the founding of Canada and how it is celebrated, memorialized and commemorated by their families. It pays to advertise, to let others know what you are looking for. Some of you will still be celebrating your National day as I write. So on Saturday or Sunday take a few minutes to tell the list who you are. Can you tell the list where your family came from and when to Canada? When did Boyds first come to Canada? Or to your Province (I know from the Ayrshire list that quite a number of Ayrshire miners went from Ayrshire to BC in the early to mid 1800's) Does (or did) your have a family reunion for Canada Day?
