Thank you Loretta Yes I found both Killock and Killockhead about 5 kms south of Galston. I have another branch of Boyd who had a James Boyd born about 1749 at Brunt Mains Glaston. I could not find that name but found Bruntwood Mains about 1 kms to the NW of Killock, with another farm between them. So I assume that the names ahve changed over the last few hundred years.
